Above and below the surface they ferment or boil over: anger, rage, aggressiveness, fear, manipulation, impotence… Anger is one of the most human and sinister emotions. It captivates us, captivates us, captivates us, whether with devotion, spending or rejection – it is difficult to escape it.
“RAGE”, written in 2012, is a piece about shock and protest. It plunges into a world of contradictions and deeply felt unease. A choreography of a subliminal vibrating evocation and at the same time something feverishly glowing, which embodies an existential friction, a breaking wound, a rumbling of anger. The starting point can be things that make you think, make you angry, divide you or unite you. Founded in 1996 by Greek choreographer Toula Limnaios, the company is one of the most successful ensembles for contemporary dance. With “WUT” she is making her first guest in Erfurt.
